Squee!
What made me happy today? Total squee pictures!
Okay, and a video.
The video was first: it popped up in the online newspaper I was reading this morning. It shows a bunch of dolphins helping another dolphin stay afloat when she gets sick. So sweet.
Then I stumbled across this photo. It's a galaxy shaped like a hummingbird! Ok, actually it's three galaxies colliding. Stunning pictures though. You can find more information here.
After that I needed something closer to home. My eye fell on this. Totally made me go 'Awww, there's something in my eye...'
And last but not least I came across a picture that made me go 'squee!'
So sweet!

Pretty pictures
What made me happy today? Stumbling across two amazing images on the internet.
The first one was this one:
It's a pulsar that looks like a hand, which kind of makes it look like the Universe is high-fiving itself :-)

It's a picture taken in Iceland, but it looks like a landscape from an alien world. Totally took my breath away. We have some pretty amazing places and views on this little blue dot we're living on... On a side note: those of you who like to gaze at the stars should definitely turn your eyes skywards this evening as Jupiter and the moon are wery close to each other! I just hope that the cloud cover breaks so I can see it too.
